CheckMe Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

CheckMe is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that reads your heart rate, blood oxygen, and barometric altitude to alert you when your body reacts differently than your personal baseline.

Data we collect

None. CheckMe has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. Nothing you do in the app is transmitted anywhere.

Health data

With your permission, CheckMe reads heart rate, blood oxygen, resting heart rate, and workout information from Apple Health (HealthKit), and altitude from the device barometer. This data is processed entirely on your device and is used only to compute your personal baseline and decide whether to show you a local notification. CheckMe never writes to Apple Health, never exports health data, and never shares it with anyone. Health data is not used for advertising or marketing.

Data retention and deletion

CheckMe stores only small on-device summaries (your baseline, recent altitude readings, and alert history). Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also revoke Health access at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

Medical disclaimer

CheckMe is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or condition. If you feel unwell, contact a medical professional — do not wait for an alert.
